About Me:

I have been writing for ten years and after five first drafts of novels I realized I needed to learn how to make them into the books they wanted to be. I spent three years taking classes, working with editors and other writers and going to trainings on editing, rewriting, and giving and using feedback. I participated in critique groups and worked at writing conferences.

I am on staff with the SCWC and lead workshops and facilitate read and critique groups. I have edited work in different genera fiction and non-fiction. I specialize in Young adult, Middle Grade, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Paranormal and character driven fiction. I have worked in a variety of settings from the justice department and probation, schools internationally and in the states, to wilderness programs and adventure sports. I assessed individuals and groups in assessment. problem solving and self improvement. I know how personal ones writing is and that it is their story and am here to help them make their story the best it can be and making the feedback process a motivating experience.
